“Particpating in this training program has provided me the opportunity to expand my skills in basic science and early translational research as I transition to being an independent researcher. It has also helped me learn about designing and implementing clinical trials in older adults. What i find beneficial about this program is that it is interdisciplinary and has given me many opportunities for collaborating with researchers across the School of Medicine, Public Health and Engineering. Also, I found excellent research mentors through this program who have been very supportive as I develop my research interests and proceed in my career.”
