Dr. Wanigatunga’s presentation will touch on his recent research about the relationship between physical activity and the brain, including associations between exercise and reduced dementia risk.
In addition to being part of COAH, Dr. Wanigatunga, is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology with the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health with a joint appointment in the JHU School of Medicine. Also, he is affiliated with the JHU Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Aging Research as well as the JHU ENGAGE Research Lab.
