Director of the Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health

Welcome to the Center on Aging and Health at Johns Hopkins University. As the Director of COAH, I am delighted that you are visiting our website, and thank you for your interest in the health and well-being of our older adults.

Because the number of older adults in our society is increasing dramatically, it has beome more important than ever to conduct sound, high quality research that is aimed at solving the unique problems of older adults and their families. The Center on Aging and Health consists of 30 faculty members who collaborate with other investigators at Johns Hopkins and around the world to pursue exciting goals in the areas of research, training, clinical care, and public service.

Our overriding objective to discover new and more effective ways to promote the health and well-being of older adults, and to help them continue to make valuable contributions to our communities. In addition to our innovative research projects, we also have active predoctoral and postdoctoral training programs, and numerous partnerships with community stakeholders.

Thanks again for visiting our website, and please contact us if you would like any more information about our programs.
